I%26#039;ve always gotten relaxers on my hair..especially for the summer, the only problem with that is that it makes my hair extremely straight and when i want to gel it up (for the summer, cuz its more refreshing) the curls are tooo straight...matter fact, i have NO curls. I need a relaxer badly for my roots, i heard a culing activator straighten your roots but do not get rid of your curls..is it true? should i try that instead.

neat sections
then you just curl it with a small think curling tong
the tighter you roll it the tighter it will be
make sure you dont overlap the hair on the curler
and hold it for 15-20 seconds
then unroll it from the tong
and curl it back up with your finger
then bobby-pin it to your head so its like a zulu knot only looser
then do this to all your hair
then when all the pins are in and everythings done
set your blowdryer to cool and lightly cool down the hair so it kinda sets.
and at the end take the pins out when your hair has cooled and run your fingers through it
then spray with hairspray

And start parting your hair to the side. Also, add lots of volume by teasing and use a curl spray and diffuse it. Work the waves and curl... especially for summer. Once it gets longer, if you want it out of your face, pull it into a side pony by your neck(with lots of curl) Very cute.

hi i am a 13. yr. old girl and my hair has some major trauma. my mother is caucasion, and my dad is african american. i don%26#039;t live with my dad, and my mom doesn%26#039;t really know what to do with my hair issues. i have alot of fuzzies in the front and back of my hair, and is ALWAYS falling out of my pony tai. see my hair is just past my shoulders, but it is sooo curly (but MOSTLY poofy) i can ever wear it down. i have a really good flat iron (chi), but my hair is still KINDA poofy (and shortish) when it is down so i only wear my hair in ponies and half pony tails. please do not suggest braiding (cornrowing) because i would if i could, but my mom doesn%26#039;t have the money and i don%26#039;t really have the time HEHE....so ya...i really just wear my hair in a straightened pony tail. i don%26#039;t really want to know WHAT to put in my hair because my mom doesn%26#039;t have the money to just buy me stuff for my hair PLUS she is disabled, so we can%26#039;t ALWAYS go places UNLESS somebody drives us.

my hair is medium brown and i wanted to dye it auburn so i used Revlon Colorsilk dye today, and it only dyed a few splotches in the front! as for the rest of my hair, nothing happened at all. i had my mom help me, and we did a pretty thorough job...what happened?!
also; i want to dye it again using a different brand, can i do it tomorrow since most of my hair isnt even dyed?
and is herbal essences color me happy a good brand?

Use the color stripper as instructed on the bottle. After rinsing it all out, COAT your hair with cholesterol, comb it through and leave it on! Wrap your hiar with the plastic bag and use something (a clip) to keep it in place. Leave it for a few hours (overnight is good).
GENTLY wash it out of your hair. If your hair is still greasy, wait a few hours and GENTLY wash it again. Repeat until it%26#039;s soft and normal and not greasy then dye it to the color you want (use the instructions with the dye).

yeah the lemon thing works :] i squeezed some lemon juice in my hair this previous summer and layed out to tan and I noticed some blondish streaks and washed it out and did it the next day and it was more noticable sooo yeah it works :]

I really wouldnt recommend that, and i believe its a bad idea. The kid is still young, and she shouldt need to straighten her hair until the age of 13, or when she hits puberty.
Dont ruin her heair now, and you dont want her to lose hair so early, and end up with no hair when she grows up..

I think with a long, dirty blonde hair, with some cool layers and side swept bangs, you would look like a movie star. Your eyes would pop! Literally.

My favorite is the Honey and Mango tropical conditioner and shampoo by Alba.

You should get the top layers of your hair pretty short, and the rest a few inches longer than the shortest part to start, then chopped %26amp; layered down in longer and thinner layers as you go further down the hair shaft. As for keeping it poof-free, try Sunsilk 24 Creme Antipoof. It should do the trick. Besides, the poofiness of it is half the style! Try a cute bow. :]

okay so i have light brown hair.

Okay, so, I have a hair problem. Here%26#039;s the jist:
I%26#039;m going to be at Bonnaroo for 4 days...that means no hairstyling or showers (or not a lot of showers at least. I%26#039;ll still bathe. (o:)
My hair is short and naturally curly on the bottom layer and straight on top. I noramally curly my hair, but since I%26#039;m not going to have elecricity I%26#039;m in a predicament.
So, my question is...how do I style it to look decent? Or increase the curl without curlers or anything?
