Reply:I tihnk she might be too young to do it often. You might want to brush her hair stragiht while it is dry and put a bit of hair spray on it so it will stay a bit straight when it dries

I really wouldnt recommend that, and i believe its a bad idea. The kid is still young, and she shouldt need to straighten her hair until the age of 13, or when she hits puberty.


Dont ruin her heair now, and you dont want her to lose hair so early, and end up with no hair when she grows up..

She%26#039;s only 18 months anyway. She don%26#039;t care what her hair looks like! Put it in a cute pink bow or something. I don%26#039;t understand why you%26#039;d need to straighten it. Reply:First of all, its totally unnecessary. Second of all, there%26#039;s no way an 18 month old knows enough about fashion and beauty to care what her hair looks like. Thirdly, straightners are very hot and its so unsafe and dangerous to even let her near one. Hair on young children is very fragile and weak and you are going to ruin it her before she can even be old enough to enjoy it.
Reply:you must be crazy!!no child that young need chemicals/heat applied to their head.if your childs hair is to the point where you cant comb it then try using a leave in conditioner; hair moisturizer(pink oil/motions) for black hair texture or go to a professional and get their hair pressed. but do not straghten it. the average age where a childs hair is chemical ready is about 13. if your going to flat iron it be careful or let a professional do it. children that youg move a lot and you dont want to risk buring your child

If you really want to style hair that bad, get a barbie doll with curly hair and straighten that. Wait until shes at least 3 or 4 years old to straighten her hair!

Reply:Okay. I will not say she is too young because I have seen 2 year olds with the hair of 18 year olds. Do you want to straighten it because it is hard too hard to manage? If so, please show me a pic of her and I can give some suggestions. Age is not always the issue. The issue is the HAIR. I also need to know is her scalp is tender(does it hurt her when you comb her hair?).
