Hair dye removal?

ok so i was looking at walgreens and they have this hair dye remover stuff and i wanted to try it. i want my hair its natural color but im afraid that the hair dye remover will turn my hair orange or something bizarre like that. does anyone know about this kind of stuff and what it will do to my hair?
Hair dye removal?
i used it a few weeks ago and i was afraid of that too but it came out pretty close to my natural color but i didnt leave it on long enough but it will only work if ur hair is darker than ur natural color. and it smells like rotten eggs lol but it works.
Hair dye removal?
No, but what you might want to do is cut off a lock of hair and try the stuff on it. Good luck
Reply:DONT DO IT YOURSELF!! go to a professional. your hair will turn orange and you will end up at the salon trying to fix it anyway. if you must do it yourself, go to a beauty supply store and get a better product. walgreens will not have what you really need.
Reply:clairol hair removal kit is the best use it all the time it will take your hair right back to natural color if you dye all the time youll be surprised at your own color just use a really good conditioner when done because it does dry out your hair strips to your own natural highlights hope this helps ya
Reply:I%26#039;m guessing you%26#039;re talking about color stripper.

Yes, it will leave your hair a funky colorless color and very damaged.

However, if you%26#039;re gung-ho about doing it be sure to have a few things of things:

1. Hair color that you want your hair to look like.

2. A little tub of stuff called %26quot;Cholesterol%26quot;...they used to sell it at Walmart about ten years ago when I used it last.

3. A weekend where you don%26#039;t have to go anywhere.

4. A plastic bag to wrap around your hair (grocery bag).

Use the color stripper as instructed on the bottle. After rinsing it all out, COAT your hair with cholesterol, comb it through and leave it on! Wrap your hiar with the plastic bag and use something (a clip) to keep it in place. Leave it for a few hours (overnight is good).

GENTLY wash it out of your hair. If your hair is still greasy, wait a few hours and GENTLY wash it again. Repeat until it%26#039;s soft and normal and not greasy then dye it to the color you want (use the instructions with the dye).
