How do you make your hair lighter?
yeah the lemon thing works :] i squeezed some lemon juice in my hair this previous summer and layed out to tan and I noticed some blondish streaks and washed it out and did it the next day and it was more noticable sooo yeah it works :]

you can dye your hair and you can get the color stripped at the salon .....i don%26#039;t know though if you can get it stripped at your house.

lemon works, but you might want to go for a hair dye that is semi permanent like the Garnier Fructise. Those are soft on the hair. They don%26#039;t damage it much
Reply:Yeah, I%26#039;ve tried the lemon thing.... but its a waste of lemons, and you need a lot of them.... which adds up in price!

Try to buy hair lightening cream, I tried that and my hair got considerably lighter!
Reply:Putting lemon juice in your hair takes a long time, and I%26#039;ve known someone who%26#039;s had a bad experience with it. It took a long time to lighten, and when it first started to, it turned her hair orange. After awhile, it got to blonde. Then it turned dry and brittle. I highly DO NOT recommend that.

If you use a temporary dye, (good idea) it could wash out after a couple weeks if it looked bad. If you need it out right away, you could get a remover. I think there might be some removers for permanent dye too, but don%26#039;t take my word on that because I%26#039;m not 100% sure.

I say use temporary dye. It%26#039;ll be able to come out after a while, and if you liked it, you could dye it back.
Reply:You can%26#039;t %26quot; get it out%26quot;. When you lighten your hair it is permanent because it takes pigment out of our natural hair color. It has to grow out. The lemon juice thing works(from what I have heard). If you want to get rid of it, you have to let it grow out or apply a color over the blonde. But be careful. Coloring blonde hair can be a little tricky.
Reply:The lemon thing works. Squeeze some lemons in a spray bottle (or just use lemon juice), spray onto your hair and lay in the sun.. and you%26#039;ll have pretty blonde highlights : ) Or, after you shampoo %26amp; condition your hair, you can rinse your hair with lemon juice!
